Coquard literally means ‘black eye’, and it’s my name.
My family have grown grapes in Beaujolais for generations.
Coquard is also the name of this original work of art by “
Christophe Heymann Artiste Peintre” (aka CHAP).
My name inspired him to capture my likeness in this unusual way.
Coquard becomes Coq’Art.
With deep roots in the Beaujolais region, I really love its wines and so I offer you, in this bottle, my own special cuvée which reveals it in the best possible light.
